Cicciolina usually gets skipped in this house, but mainly coz it just goes on forever without developing.

If they'd've stuck to a 3-4 min version fair enough, but nearly 8 minutes!!??!???

It was the ecstasy. Personally I love the 8 minute Cicciolina!

"When I first head TLoTL I _hated_ Get the Girl, the 'ruff justice' bit just sounded so utterly awful to me I was embarrassed by it".

Have you head the "Radio Version" off the RCA promo CD? Oh, They've replaced the original riff samples with orchestral stabs presets that were so common about 3 years earlier. it truly, truly, is utterly dreadful. I find that version *ahem* unlistenable.

Mind you, I'm surprised no one else has noticed the striking similarity between the verse riff for GTGKTB and Killing Jokes "Exorcism", released 2 years later. the riff is almost identical. E-D-Db / E-G-Gb. Play the two back to back, and KJ have half-inched the riff.

Oh, and Worst Song Ever? I loathe "There is No love". I cant explain why. I find it boring. Mind you, maiybe its because I find the hook - being only a Two notes long - masquerading as a song a bit dull and grating very quickly.

Like with most bands I like I tend to not listen to the signature tunes these days, bored to tears of them really. So, yeah, Can U Dig It? and No Love tends to get skipped. As does Size Of A Cow, Blue Monday, Happy, Sit Down, Epic, and so on.

"In an interview around the time of Clint's solo show at Union Chapel a couple of years ago, he said that No Love was the song he was still most proud of"

I reckon the thing Clint should be most proud of - albeit outside of PWEI - is The soundtrack to "The Fountain".An incredible soundtrack, one of my favourite of all time. (Though I know this should be in the clint side forum).

As for disc 2 of "Two Fingers" - its 71m13s. In terms of running time, there's no reason to lop 40 seconds off "Intense" then. The full version is on the US "amalgamation" EP, along with the aforementioned alternate versions of Auslander / Familus Horribilus. If I remember rightly, both of these loop one instrumental bar at the beginning of one of the verse. Utterly confounded as to why ; the difference is about 3 or 4 seconds in each case! Its a difference thats so small as to be pointless....

You can pick up the Amalgamation CD EP for pennies on Amazon US - loads of them pop up. Seems to be about £20 - £30 here in UK. Must be like Indie landfill over there.

Damn, I really like The Looks or the Lifestyle. Bulletproof is a little limp, but it's not bad. Overall, I really love it and I think my favorite track on it might be Harry Dean Stanton.

I rarely listen to Now for a Feast or Box Frenzy and I still skip "Can U Dig It?" (I mentioned that and why earlier).
