Cicciolina, without a doubt, is terrible. Also, Intergalactic Love Mission and any remixes of Bulletproof. I think each album had it's own dog's dinner of a track on it.

There are other songs that are obviously worse... and my tastes in what's good and what I don't like are often out of tune with 99% of society...
... but I never liked "Can You Dig It?".
Imagine the torture of actually not liking your favorite bands most popular song! You can't escape it.

I've got the same feelings for a lot of bands actually:
I can't stand "Been Caught Stealing" from Jane's Addiction.
I hate Faith No More's "Epic".
And don't get me started on "Fight for Your Right To Party."

Bad PWEI songs?

Hmm. In no particular order mine are:

Mother
Bulletproof
Teenage Grandad
Pretty Pretty
Kiss That Girl
Bubbles
Picnic in the Sky
Can't remember the title, but it has the line 'She's a real dumb bitch, she's a waste of good skin''. That one always sat uncomfortably with me.

Seems that TLOTL was always a better title than album for me.

Crappiest Poppies song ever - most of those flippant 1 minute instrumentals that padded out the albums.

I must admit, whilst I consider "Bulletproof!" quite a lightweight, bouncy song, its an incredible crowdpleaser (see the clouds of dust on the phoenix 94 footage) and also I have a soft spot for a lot of the Looks And Lifestyle songs. I think what peopel miss from them is the denseness of the samples. TL&TL is much more bleepy / synth based rather than the clincial sound CFS has.

As for Thieves and Everythings Cool - the riff is a lift. A complete and total lift. The rest of the song isn't, but the riff is a complete lift.

Crappiest song ever? Zero Return. Obscure and rightly so. once heard, never remembered.

I actually haven't noticed EC's riff is similar to Thieves until it was pointed out to me. I still don't hear it. In Thieves, it sounds like a buzzin' machine, and in EC it just sounds like a riff.

I'd say what people dislike about LOTL that it has both less rap and less electronica (Token Drug Song, Teenage Grandad, Pretty Pretty, Urban Futuristic). Someone pointed it out they were attempted Grunge - I'd say they could've gone there, glad they turned to Industrial Rock.

All this talking about Zero Return make it sound mythical or something, seriously.

Its the same riff. "Thieves" is a treated machine noise, whereas "Everythings Cool" is the same notes, key, and speed played on a guitar.

Zero Return? Pfffft. It's a three minute, mostly high speed, piece of generic mid 90's rock-techno : the kind of thing you'd find on as an instrumental remix by nobody you'd ever heard of on an Apollo 440 CD single.
