The dirge they have come out with in recent years bears no resemblance to 90s techno.

Each to their own and all that, but I think The Prodigy have basically been shite since Jitled.

I accidently said I'm from the UK in my last post. wtf.

It's odd for me to hear Big Beat being called 'outdated' when a lot of it seems better produced than modern electronica. Big Beat is actually one of my favorite genres, and I love its wide-eyed approach to music. I want more of that.

As for Jilted, "Speedway" may be my favorite Prodigy song but whenever I try to listen to the whole album, it's just so big and long. I LOVE Always Outnumbered. "Spitfire"'s beat is just so... BIG. The DRUMS. "You'll Be Under My Wheels" and "Shoot Down" are also badass.

It's the Big Beat stuff on IMD that is the best - Hospital and Stand Up. I love "Stand Up". It always puts me in a good mood.

I think Stand Up sounds to me more like a Fatboy Slim track than a Prodigy track, and reminds me of that late-90's big beat boom, hence the 15 year too late thing in my mind. ;) I do think it's a pretty good track, just sounds a little bit out of place to me.
