The best part in that song is the short, shouting synth that comes later. It's a small detail that it makes it much more intense.

I think with Flints vocals less is more. On Babys Got A Temper theres too much, its too wordy and then, yeah, he sounds like a twat. Short, sharp, spitty soundbites work much better. I wouldnt think he'd put 'Singer' on his CV either, mind.

I've never seen the Prodge live as I'm not a huge gig-goer but did buy the World's On Fire live blu-ray/CD and thought Maxim was really annoying on it, most of the time he just screams a WWWWHHHAAA!!! or a WOOOOOO!!! Didn't mint Keith at all. The version of Their Law was pretty good though I reckon, it's remixed a little and would be good it PWEI play around with it a bit too I reckon.

Maxim has lost it a bit in middle age. He was at his peak mid-90s during the kilt/ gauntlet/ audience threatening period. I did read an account that at one T in the Park some chucked an empty bottle of Buckfast at him & he caught it one handed. Next one hit him in the knackers though...

They were incredible at Glastonbury in 1995. If anyone has a boot of that then I'm interested. It was probably all filmed too, cos I remember some of it being on telly at the time.

Was 1996 the year they played on the main stage as a 'band' as well as properly in the dance tent the following night?

If so, I went that year, missed the main stage set because of traffic but by all accounts it was shit. They were incredible in the dance tent.

I think that was the turning point where they stopped being a credible dance act and got a load of new followers who thought they were good from that point on, with Keith 'singing' etc.

It might have been 1997. I can't remember. It seems so long ago.

Sex Pistols played in 1996 I think, they were incredible. Worth the entry price alone.
