Well I have high hopes for it (actually I'm very much like an over excited kid whenever I think about it) !

if its owt like the 2 star trek films it will be mindless smoke and mirrors for kids. - but it will look cool.

I've not even seen them to be honest. I gave up on Trek when it went backwards instead of forwards if you know what I mean.

I think Abrams will get away with it providing he has a good chunk of the orginal cast involved, and it looks like some are going to be. We also know a full scale Millenium Falcon set is being constructed which is also a positve, I think. Overall I have reasonably high hopes. But, why no Lando?

Well it can't be any lower than George Lucas has already dragged the series.

Not sure with Abrams - Like the new Treks, got bored of Lost, Cloverfield was a load of arse

I enjoyed the Star Trek film I saw a few years back, never seen or been interested in Lost. Cloverfield was so turd I turned it off.

I'm a bit cautiously optimistic about it, though I've not really been following progress online as I'm sick to death of everyone saying how they think the prequels are shit at every mention of 'Star Wars' (Mostly on Facebook. Yes we know, move on). It'll be cool to see Luke, Leia and Han again though. I liked the new JJ Star Treks, never saw Lost. I kinda liked Cloverfield but watching it makes me feel ill.

I can't wait to see how Jar Jar Binks gets on. They left him out of 4,5, and 6 sadly
