Hey. I know there are some very skilled audio people on this forum so I wondered if people could give a listen to this track I'm working on. It's a cover of My Bloody Valentine's You Made Me Realise.

I recorded it on a BOSS BR800 four track and I'm currently mixing the tracks on Sonar LE. There are 2 guitar tracks panned left and right (both recorded directly into the 4 track), a vocal track (also recorded into the unit) and two live drum and bass tracks.

Something doesn't seem quite right to me. My main concern are the guitars and the volume. Do the guitars sound a bit 'wimpy'? I EQd them to take away the low end to allow the bass to shine more but I'm wondering if perhaps they need a bit more oomph!?

Anyway please listen and comment/critique/offer advice!

Thanks in advance.

EDIT - Oh yeah, the middle 8 noise section isn't finished yet, neither are the harmonised vocals.

No idea. The vocals don't sound as dirty/rough as the instruments. OR is that me. By dirty/rough I mean that in a nice way?
