Time for a bit of a Monday morning rant!

Does anyone else get really fed up when a band posts confirmed tour dates on Friendface & Twatter, then people post comments having a go at the band for not playing their local town this time? Fair enough sometimes there may be a genuine complaint (eg. the 2 gigs PWEI had to cancel on the last tour) where you can at least question the band directly. Also II know in this here modern world the interwebs gives the idiot minority a voice, but there are some people who just won't let go & keep on whinging

Do people not realise booking a tour isn't just a case of pick 20 venues then go play? There's contracts, costs, band member's lives outside the band etc to consider...

Also annoys me when tickets are released in stages. I ended up with seated tickets for the reformation gig in London because of that. More standing tickets were released after I'd bought seats cos standing were sold out.

Also when bands announce dates in stages. Leaving a Saturday night gig to be announced later 'due to popular demand' or something.

My rant isn't at the bands themselves, hope it's still allowed on the thread.

Don't get me started - in my day a Uk tour was a UK tour, not just a couple of towns with a Carling/O2 academy.
