pop will eat itself

Had a dream last night which had a moment where I bought what I thought was a real ale called Pop Will Eat Itself but when I took a sip it turned out to be cider which I hate.

Any interpretations?

It's a 'what, no Clint?' dream isn't it.

The ale is the original line-up, and the cider is what you get these days. Clint is the hops, Mary is the apple.

I say the new line up are doing a damn fine job and Mary fits in very well.

I was only talking about the dream.

So, are they Magnets, Strongbow or a dirty bottle of white lightning.

For the record- I like cider, quite a lot. I also like ale.

Ale yes, Cider not so much ever since a very bad teenage hangover on it.

Same sort of thing happened to me, and I went off it for almost 10 years. I am from the West Country though, so it was inevitable that I'd get back on it eventually.
