Saw suede and vampire weekend recently, Neds last night and have China Drum, Shed Seven (don't mock they are ace live) and sleigh the UK before Xmas.
Gonna book the new Neds/wedding present/cud/sultans etc gig too. Manics next year and am toying with Presidents of the USA for a laugh.

I saw PUSA a few years ago and they were great. I'd recommend going to see them.

I got that email about the Sultans, Neds etc. Only really interested in seeing the Sultans though. And it's a long way to travel from the south coast.

Went to a blinding gig in Hull at the weekend, two new bands Drowners and Skaters. Early Strokes crossed with Libertines both of them. Riotous scenes. Quality show.

Both debut albums very decent too.

Dub Pistols on Friday

Unfortunately i watched the Manics on friday night, used to like them (first 3 albums anyway) but they have become very safe and dad rock these days, i'd not seen them since '97 and only once post Richey. Was very disappointed, crowd was kinda disinterested too, the Leeds Arena is not exactly the best place to watch a band.

Support were Eagulls who i had read a bit about and kinda enjoyed. The singer is pretty awful but the band are great, sound is Joy Division crossed with Killing Joke, all the songs do sound identical though.
