This is kinda spooky.. In the pub friday night I was having a few strips torn off me about still liking PWEI and going to see them on saturday.. 1 of the offenders is a big stone roses fan and in answer to some of my baiting I said 'bet u'd be the 1st in the queue for tickets wen the Roses reform to milk the cash cow!' his answer was... 'THAT WILL NEVER HAPPEN!' less than a week later this happens.

I'm quite excited about this. Working for a reissue label I've grown kinda immune to the whole "legacy" debate, it's just a bunch of guys getting up to play some great songs, and we should all be up for a bit of that shouldn't we ?

The first SR LP is one of my faves...but do you think Mr Brown still sounds like a dying cat live?
I knew they would cave - the rumoured offers the other years were silly money!
ONKET - your 12" just spiked in value - don't bin em! I've seen the first lp priced up at £25 in Oxfam & the like.

Hi Onket
Actually could I have all your stone roses records please. Stone Roses were massive during my first year at University (I tweeted that cos it upsets me now, how old I am).
All I remember is people in bad jeans + ponchos strolling around with pudding ball haircuts. It was 1989. I quite like them now but hated them then. They've improved with age (my age).

Wow, I think it's actually getting to the point where I'm asking "what band from the 80s or 90s hasn't reunited this year?" This isn't a bad thing, mind you...
Does anyone have any further tour info, album info, or is it all one off shows?

Two gigs in Manchester followed by a world tour, there's new songs but no plans to record anything just yet.
