Hmm, not impressed with the whole "let's ignore those films" thing but still very much intrigued as to what he'll come up with. It'll be great to see more of Hicks.

I think we can expect some sort of spatial-anomaly-dual time-line-JJ-Abrams thing and then we'll catch up with Hicks and Ripley surviving several years later. They couldn't de-age those two old gits for an entire movie (remember the young Jeff Bridges in Tron Legacy? Creepy). I guess I'm still looking forward to what could be a 'proper' Alien movie but I'm slightly annoyed that I'm expected to un-see things.

I've just read that Blomkamp was misquoted regarding the ignoring of 3 and 4 and his movie will be a continuation of the story so everyone STAND DOWN.
