Seeing as Hooky reformed JD on his own he hasn't got a leg to stand on.

New Order are dead to me after Technique anyway. Flogging a dead horse.

Well, Hooky left in 2007 so I guess he cant complain about the band continuing without him. However, as legend has it, Back In The Day they agreed that when a member left the band the name would have to change. The band was those members, when those members changed then so did the band. Hence, when Ian Curtis left (died) they changed the name of the band. This whole subject has had more pages devoted to it on New Order Online than any 'Wheres Clint?' debate over here.

Hooky left, the band continued. I have no problem with that although he does leave a big gaping hole within the New Order sound and a massive stage presence at concerts.

Last saw them around the time of Waiting for the Siren's call (awful album) & it was entertaining if unspectactular.

The highlight was Arthur Baker DJing.

I think the falling out between Barney & Hooky has been pretty bitchy so I wouldn't be surprised if part of the reason for a new tour under the NO name was just to piss off Hooky!

Again I won't pass judgement until Clint has issued a statement with his thoughts.

Also I'll be happier once every member of New Order has come round to my flat and handed me a signed document confirming that Hooky is not in the band, just so we can't accuse them of misleading the fans by not providing clarity on the line-up.

I read somewhere that amonst other things, Hooky left because of the annoying way Barney eats crisps...anyone heard this bizzarre tale.

I've read Hookys book. he is really funny. I went to see his show where he answers questions and shows clips. It was a bit shoddy - you tube clips show on a big screen and stuff you'd just read in his book, but he is funny and seems a nice bloke.
