Youth unemployment is not helping the festivals - if the kids aint got any money to spend these are the events that will suffer.
Bearded Theory looks good, but Derby in May does not really light my jostick - nothing planned so far this year, mumbles about a return to Bestival but nothing actually being done about it.
I have been looking at Hop Farm but would probably only be for a day (and the day Primal Scream play) - and already have a ticket for the Saturday at V, just for the Stone Roses really. Line ups maybe soooo mid to late 90's, but so am i and like to know i am seeing at least one band / artist - the rest of the day / weekend can be a total mash up but i seem to need a point of interest to start the ball rolling.
I thought the main stage Reading Headliners this year are possibly the best i have seen there in a long time (i would happily watch all 3).
Although festivals with too many kids about worry me, i am always concerned i could tread on / fall on / burn one (you all know by now how i love a fag)............
