I didn't see that coming, I figured they would die together. Hopefully this doesn't impact that band, I was really looking forward to seeing them again. I've managed to catch 4 shows since '99, all of them amazing. One of the most honest indie bands out there.

Just get one of me favourite bands back with the new PWEI and now the Yoof might be calling it a day. It's a shame becuase the Rather RIpped & The Eternal were their best albums in a long long time - so glad Jim O'Rourke finally buggered off & they got Mr Ibold in for live stuff.

Unless the band are going to come back in a few years with Mary Byker replacing Kim?

Well it does'nt actually say they will split the band, with a bit of luck they'll carry on. Loved Sonic Youth for 20 odd years, me and a m8 dj in local pubs and we named ourselves after a Youth track (Drunken Butterfly).
